How do I add a new retail store to SKU IQ?

Contact our support team to add a new POS/location to your SKU IQ account. 

Multiple POS location syncing is supported by the following POS and eCommerce platforms:

  • Lightspeed
  • Square
  • Vend
  • Shopify

You may need to provide the following information to the support team: 

  • Employee Name - You’ll be asked to choose an employee who the sales will be accredited to in your POS system. We recommend creating a new user within your POS with the name “online.”
  • Locations - You’ll be asked to tell us which of your POS locations you’d like to sync with your online store. Our support team will provide you with a list of possible POS locations that we can enable for syncing with your eCommerce platform.
  • Payment Type - You might be asked to choose the payment type that will be assigned to all online orders within the POS. Our support team will provide you with a list of available payment types that you can choose from, depending on what payment types you have defined within your POS.
  • Registers - You might be asked to choose which register to attribute the online sales to within your POS. Our support team will provide you with a list of available registers that you can choose from, depending on what registers you have defined within your POS.

After the configuration of multiple POS locations is completed, we might need to re-import your product data so that your inventory displays correctly within SKU IQ. 

Once your inventory data is reimported, your setup is complete and it will be necessary to manually fulfill orders using the SKU IQ dashboard. Automatic order fulfillment is only available if you use Lightspeed and Shopify.
