How to Turn Inventory Tracking On in Square
Overview
Wix's inventory management lets you toggle inventory tracking on or off for new and existing products, this feature is responsible for monitoring your stock levels, ensuring you know when items are running low. Only with this feature enabled, SKU IQ can accurately sync inventory with your eCommerce site.
If it's off, Wix may report zero stock, marking items as "OUT OF STOCK" online, or send a "null" stock value, disabling tracking and risking overselling. This can lead to inventory errors and customer frustration.

How to Turn Inventory Tracking On in Wix

Access Your Wix Dashboard.

Go to Catalog on your left-hand menu.

Click on Inventory.

On this page, click on Filter.

Select Not Tracked under the Inventory Options in the Expanded Filter Options.

You will be left with only the items that don't currently track inventory in your catalog. Select them all by clicking the box at the top of the list.

Click on Update Inventory.

On the pop-up, under the Inventory Tracking field, switch to the Track by Quantity option, all quantities will be set to zero by default.

Adjust your Wix stock quantities to what you have on hand, which may require a physical count.

Use the Add or Set options to update quantities in bulk to a set amount.

If you have accurate inventory counts on your POS platform, use the SKU IQ Link report feature later in your setup to send those counts over to Wix automatically. If choosing this option, add a quantity of one as a placeholder.

Click Update in the lower corner of the pop-up screen.
- And that's it! You'll see a confirmation on the top right corner of your screen.
