How to Enable WooCommerce's Inventory Tracking
Before linking your WooCommerce eCommerce to SKU IQ, it's important to back up your inventory data. This ensures that if you ever need to reference your previous stock or any other inventory details, you'll have the file conveniently available.

Individual Product Method
1. On your Wordpress Dashboard, Navigate to 'Products' and then 'All Products'.

2. On your product page, you'll be able to identify items not tracking inventory, as they will not show any numbers in the stock column, like the examples below:

Click on the item name to go to the individual product page.
3. Scroll down to the 'Product Data' section of the individual product page and select 'Inventory'

4. Find the 'Stock management' option and enable the 'Track stock quantity for this product' option.

5. You can now add a numerical quantity as your stock. If no numbers have been inputted here, they will default to zero. If the items in question have matching counterparts on your POS system, you'll be able to use the SKU IQ Link Report to send the POS stock numbers into WooCommerce later during your set up.

6. When that is done, scroll back up and hit 'Update'

7. Your product should now show a quantity attached to it on the stock column of your product list.

Bulk Method
1. On your product page, you'll be able to identify items not tracking inventory, as they will not show any numbers in the stock column, like the examples below:

2.If you have multiple items currently not tracking inventory, the bulk method is recommended to enable the option for all of them at once.

3. First, select the items you will be turning inventory syncing for.

4. Then navigate to the top of your item list and click on the 'Bulk actions' box, selecting the 'Bulk edit' option

5. Then hit 'Apply' next to it.

6. In this page, locate the 'Manage stock?' option and switch it to 'Yes'.

7. Once that is enabled, click on 'Update'. You can also use the field below 'Stock qty' to set the stock of all these products to a specific number, if you leave it as it is, all quantities will be set to zero by default.

8. Your items should now have a numerical quantity attached to them. If no numbers have been inputted on the previous step, they will all display zero. If the items in question have matching counterparts on your POS system, you'll be able to use the SKU IQ Link Report to send the POS stock numbers into WooCommerce later during your set up.
