Manually setting up negative inventory on Lightspeed R-Series

Negative inventory allows your stock quantities to dip into the negative when items are oversold or oversent on transfers and vendor returns, however, if only one of your integrations has that enabled, it can cause issues with your sync when stock dips below zero.

Step-by-step Guide

1. On your Lighstpeed R-Series dashboard, navigate  to the 'Settings' tab.

2. Under 'Advanced Setup', click on 'Optional Modules'.

3.On this page, look for 'Negative Inventory' and disable the toggle to turn off this feature.

⚠️ SKU IQ only recommends enableing Negative Stock if you have it enabled for both POS and eCommerce, having it enabled for only one of your platforms can cause issues with the stock once numbers drop below zero.

4.Once you have your selection made, click on 'Save Changes'  on the top of the page.
