TikTok Shop has many restrictions in place to protect their consumers and build a positive shopping experience that consumers can have confidence in. Restricted Products
Restricted products are products in which require approval from TikTok Shop prior to going live on your TikTok Shop. Many of these items will require documentation in regards to testing reports, certifications, product details and any accompanying documentation in regard to medicinal claims. Before an item goes live on TikTok Shop, you must upload the required documentation in your Seller Center.

There are a few categories that you are allowed to use if TikTok Shop has invited you to use them. If you attempt to use these categories without invitation from TikTok, you will receive error messages on SKU IQ in regard to not being whitelisted to use this category.

These are categories that are currently unsupported and prohibited from being sold on TikTok Shop. While many sellers may have permissions and the necessary qualifications to sell these items locally, TikTok Shop will not allow the sale of items within these categories on TikTok Shop.
