Notifications - Get Emails & Texts From SKU IQ!

This article will show you where to go to add different notifications to your account if you did not set them up during the initial Wizard.

Overview

If you neglected to set up email and text notifications during your initial setup in the Wizard, that's okay. You can still enable them! We offer a variety of notifications in regard to your inventory and account and offer a daily or weekly report for your SKU IQ usage.

This article will also cover how to update your Mobile Number for text messages and how to disable notifications if you wish.

Accessing Notifications

From your SKU IQ Dashboard, you'll want to scroll down the left hand navigation panel to the bottom where you'll see "Configuration". The first option is for Settings. This is where we'll want to go! The settings page will show you your current configuration for product attribute syncing at the top. If you scroll down, you'll see the Notifications section.

Email notifications will be sent to the email address on the account you are currently logged in to. Text messages will be sent to the Mobile Number we have on file on your Account page. The Mobile Number will not be filled out by default and you will need to add it. See these instructions on how to do so.

Notification Options

Inventory

The first set of notification options are for your inventory. We highly recommend having a notification sent when you are running low on an item. The drop down menu under "Notify me when an item only has" allows you to select from 1 to 20 left. We also recommend selecting "Notify when an order is made in my eCommerce platform." This can be super handy if you don't have notifications set up in your eCommerce and want to be on-top of online orders!

Account

"Notify when a new team member joins" is only applicable if there will be multiple people using your SKU IQ account. You can set up accounts for multiple people under your Accounts page. We recommend enabling this notification if you are the Admin and want to keep an eye on who has access to your SKU IQ dashboard.

Connection

"Notify when either my POS or eCommerce platform loses connection with SKU IQ" is a notification we highly recommend having turned on. This will immediately let you know if there is an outage with one of your platforms so that you can monitor any changes that may have come in from that platform and correct as necessary.

Email Subscriptions

SKU IQ offers a couple of different subscription emails through the app itself as well as marketing emails. You do not need to subscribe to the SKU IQ Summary Report or Product Features & Updates subscriptions to use the product. If you would like to opt out of marketing emails as well, please contact Support

SKU IQ Summary Report

This subscription email can be sent daily, weekly, or never per your preference. The email itself shows a summary of all activity on your account during a given time period. You are free to turn this on and off as you wish.

Product Features & Updates

This checkbox allows you to be opted-in to receiving infrequent emails about new product features and updates as we roll them out.
