Before connecting your TikTok Shop to SKU IQ, it's essential to complete your TikTok Shop settings. In this article, we'll go over how to make sure your logistics services are properly set up.

Setting Up Delivery Settings

1. On the TikTok Seller Center, go to the "Orders" tab on the left-hand menu.

2. Select "Shipping Settings" from the drop-down menu.

   

3. Go to "Delivery Settings" at the top-middle part of your screen.

   

4. If it's your first time, TikTok Shipping will be set as your logistics service.

TikTok Shipping vs. Seller Shipping

If you are using TikTok Shipping, all Shipping labels must be purchased through TikTok, and delivery logistics are handled by them. You can still leverage SKU IQ to sync items, stock, and attribute changes across Shopify and TikTok Shop.

However, if you wish to leverage SKU IQ’s functionality to also fulfill your TikTok shop orders using your existing Shopify logistics and Shipping labels, you’ll need to switch your delivery settings to Seller Shipping.

Seller Shipping allows SKU IQ to fetch TikTok's order information and send that to Shopify, so that you can fulfill it as you would any other Shopify order. We will also fetch the tracking number once the order is fulfilled and send it to TikTok, saving you time and effort.

To take advantage of this feature, you’ll need to set up a Shipping Template and use one of TikTok’s supported carriers. At the time, these are: USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, Amazon Logistics, and many more. Check out this article from TikTok for more information on supported carriers.

Creating a Shipping Template

1. Click the "Switch option" to the right of your screen.

2. Click on the option to "View shipping templates".

3. Click " + Create" in the top right corner.

4. Select "Create a New Template" and hit "Confirm".

5. Assign a name to your template.

6. Assign a warehouse to this template.

   If you have more than one warehouse, you can either create a shipping template for each of them or add them all to the same template.

   

7. Select between weight-based, quantity-based, or flat rate for shipping costs.

8. Set Up Shipping Methods:

   1. Free Shipping: Optional, delivered within 6 business days.

   2. Express Shipping: Optional, delivered within 3 business days.

   3. Standard Shipping: Mandatory, delivered within 6 business days.

9. Configure Delivery Regions:

   1. Click on "Edit" under your selected Shipping method.

      

   2. You may divide regions however you like and assign different shipping costs to each region. Once you are satisfied with the regions you've selected, hit "Save".

      

   3. Click on "+ Add New Group" if you want to create a new region for unassigned locations.

10. Select Address Types - Street addresses are mandatory, but you can decide if you want to service P.O. boxes.

    

11. Set Shipping Fees:

    1. Choose between a flat rate or use the price conditions you selected in step 7 for weight or quantity ranges.

    2. Add more ranges by clicking "+ Price Conditions" if necessary.

12. When you're done setting up your shipping costs, click "Submit" at the bottom of the page.

13. Click "Save" on the confirmation pop-up to save your template.
    

Enableing Seller Shipping

1. Go back to the previous Shipping Settings page, there, select Seller Shipping and hit Switch.

2. Confirm by clicking OK on the pop-up.

   

3. And that's it! You should now have Seller shipping enabled, and all TikTok orders going forward will be sent to Shopify for fulfillment.

If you have any open orders from before this change, you'll need to fulfill them using TikTok Shipping.
