How To Back Up Your Square Inventory Data

Before linking your Square POS with SKU IQ, it's important to back up your inventory data. This ensures that if you ever need to reference your previous stock or any other inventory details, you'll have the file conveniently available.

Access Square Online Dashboard
Navigate to the Items Tab on the left-hand menu
In the top-right corner of your page, click on Actions
Select Export Library from the dropdown menu.
Select All Items under the Items options.
Choose Excel as the File Format.
Click on Export to generate the file. The time it takes to generate the file may vary depending on the size of your inventory.
Once the file is ready, it will automatically download to your device. You will see a confirmation message at the bottom-middle part of your screen.
