Item Count includes ALL SKUs/items. Variant Limit is how many variant items can be added per Parent product.
Parent Product
This is also known as the composite product. This is the main form of the product. This is generally a non-buyable entity used to describe the children/variant products. For example, this would be a t-shirt while the child would be a red t-shirt.
Child/Variant Product
This is also known as a component product or variant. These products are the buyable entities and have descriptive values that differentiate it from other child products. These values could be size, color, weight, scent, etc. depending on what the parent product is. In the example where the parent product is a t-shirt, the children products would be red, blue, and green and these color choices could also have sizing choices.
Values, Descriptors, and Attributes
These fields often include size, color, weight, scent, etc. and are used to differentiate different child products from each other.
SKU IQ cannot sync modifiers on items.
