Manual Fullfillment - eCommerce Shares Inventory with Multiple POS Locations
Overview
If you have more than one location in your POS system, regardless of how much inventory or activity it has, you will need custom configurations applied to your account.
SKU IQ currently only supports multi-store setups with Square, Lightspeed R-Series and Lightspeed X-Series, we hope add multi-store support for Clover and other POS systems in the future.
SKU IQ currently offers two different syncing options for customers with multiple brick-and-mortar or warehouse locations:
Automatic Sync - eCommerce Shares Inventory with One POS Location
When syncing your eCommerce stock to only one POS location, you'll have a one-to-one connection and automatic stock-level sync. This means that once an order is placed on your website, the corresponding linked item in that location's inventory will be deducted automatically, so once properly set up, you won't have to do anything else. This options is the most popular among our clients.
Manual Fullfillment - eCommerce Shares Inventory with Multiple POS Locations
When syncing your eCommerce stock to two or more POS locations, you'll have an added manual step on you inventory sync. With this option, whenever an order is placed online, you will have to manually select which location will receive the inventory deduction for each order on your SKU IQ dashboard before the inventory deduction is synced. You can find a demonstration of that process on the video at the top of this page.
In both scenarios, our team will need to apply custom configurations to your account. Please contact our support or schedule a configuration call with us.
