Why Is My Inventory Not Automatically Syncing?

SKU IQ does not want to perform any changes without your permission. We wait for you to tell us to "go!"

When you are doing your initial setup in the Wizard, you are given options on what kinds of data you want to sync between your Point of Sale and eCommerce platforms. while inventory quantities is on by default, we won't start syncing that data until we've formed a syncing relationship between the product on your Point of Sale and your eCommerce platform (even your inventory quantities!). This is to prevent any unwanted changes to your inventory. The last thing we want to do is force you to do a physical inventory count or change a bunch of data unnecessarily!

So, in order to make your inventory "talk", so to speak, you will need to either link existing items (items that exist on both platforms and you can match) or push new items from your Point of Sale or eCommerce platform to the other side. When you link (match) products, the syncing bond will form. The same happens when you push a product from one side to the other - it will form the syncing relationship during the push.

We're always here to help, so if you get stuck, you can contact Support for assistance.
