Why Is My Inventory Not Automatically Syncing?

SKU IQ does not want to perform any changes without your permission. We wait for you to tell us to "go!"

In order for SKU IQ to sync any kind of product data from one platform to the other, we first need to establish a syncing relationship between your products, which we refer to as a "link". You can think of this as building a bridge between the POS and eCommerce items so that the data can cross through. Depending on the state of your initial inventory, you might do that by using the link report or by pushing items across platforms.

We do not create these links without your input, as a business owner, you know your inventory better than anyone and the last thing we want to do is make any incorrect or unwanted changes that may result in more work for you.

If you'd like to sync more than just inventory quantities between your POS and eCommerce, you can go to "Settings" on the left-hand menu of your SKU IQ dashboard, where you can select which attributes you want to sync and which platform will be used as the source of truth for each attribute. On that same page, you can request the setup for your order syncing functionality. All of these are optional features, so you can pick and choose what works best for your business!
