Why did TikTok Shop stop syncing? How to Reauthorize SKU IQ!

If your authentication for the SKU IQ app expires, TikTok Shop will deauthorize the SKU IQ application in your Seller Center, which will halt services until you reauthorize.

When the SKU IQ app was initially installed from TikTok Shop Seller Center, you were asked to authorize the application for a period ranging from 30 days to 1 year. At the end of that period, if it has not been extended by you, TikTok Shop will deauthorize the SKU IQ app and disallow any sending or receiving of information. This will effectively halt your services and SKU IQ may even show TikTok as disconnected on your dashboard. There are a few ways to resolve this and reauthorize SKU IQ to restore syncing services.

Option 1: Reauthorize by using the link on SKU IQ Dashboard

If TikTok Shop is showing as "Uninstalled" from your SKU IQ Dashboard, you can easily reauthorize by clicking the "Reinstall Now" button to be taken right to the TikTok Shop Seller authorization modal for SKU IQ. Simply select a new authorization period (we recommend 1 year to avoid having to do this so often) and apply to get syncing again instantly!

Option 2: Reauthorize directly via TikTok Shop Seller Center

To extend or renew your authorization directly, please do the following:

  1. Visit TikTok Shop Seller Center and make sure you are logged in as an owner
  2. On the left navigator, select Apps & Services and under that, My Apps
  3. In the list of your apps, select SKU IQ and then click the purple Install button
  4. When the authorization modal pops up, select a new authorization period and confirm

UPDATE: TikTok now offers an "unlimited" authorization option, which we recommend selecting to prevent service interruptions.

  5.   Return to your SKU IQ dashboard and verify that TikTok is showing a green checkmark and "Syncing"

  6.   If you are still experiencing issues, please contact SKU IQ support for assitance.

* SKU IQ recommends selecting the maximum possible authorization period to avoid service interruptions.
