If a fulfillment sync fails, TikTok Shop users will now get a notification via email with important order information to facilitate manual fulfillment and issue remediation
To enhance our service for TikTok Shop sellers, we have made improvements to the fulfillment syncing process for TikTok Shop orders from Shopify. We understand that errors can occur during syncing, so we have implemented a retry system to ensure successful synchronization.
If an error occurs during syncing, our system will automatically retry at specific intervals. The first retry will happen after 30 minutes, followed by retries at 6 hours and 48 hours. This gives us multiple chances to resolve any issues and successfully sync the fulfillment.
In rare cases where the sync cannot be completed after the final retry, we will promptly notify you via email. The email will provide all the relevant information we have from Shopify, which will help you reconcile any discrepancies. If needed, you can easily copy and paste the fulfillment details into TikTok Shop to prevent order cancellation.
We understand that receiving email notifications can be overwhelming, especially for busy sellers. If you prefer not to receive these notifications, you can opt out. Simply go to the settings page on your SKU IQ dashboard and uncheck the notification box for TikTok Shop Fulfillment Sync Failures.
