Clover multi-location setups are not supported at this time. If you have multiple Square, Lightspeed, or Vend locations, please contact Support so that we ensure that your SKU IQ account is set up appropriately.

4. Click on the "Confirm Email" button in the email you received from us.
If your confirm email button is missing, don't fret! The green color of the button sometimes does not render depending on your email platform. Hover your mouse cursor just below the bottom line of text and you should be able to find the button (it will render as white). Or contact Support so we can send you your unique confirmation URL.
5. Once you click the Confirm Email button from your email, you should be automatically redirected to your brand new SKU IQ dashboard!

14. The next step will ask if you need to migrate your products. SKU IQ does offer bulk pushes as an option to migrate your entire catalog over from your eCommerce to your Point of Sale or from vice versa. If you're interested in having a bulk push done, contact Support! For pricing information and for more information about what a Bulk Push entails, check out this article.
15. Click "Next" to continue.
16. The Wizard will then ask you how many orders (transactions) you process per month. This includes both the Point of Sale transactions as well as eCommerce orders. It will also ask how many physical retail locations you have if you have signed up with Square, Lightspeed Retail R-Series or Lightspeed Retail X-Series (Vend).
π‘ Subscription tiers are dependent on how many orders you do per month as well as how many physical retail locations you need to connect to. You can see more information about Subscription Pricing here.
Select the appropriate number of orders you do per month from the drop down. Select the number of physical retail locations you have as well, if applicable. Then click "Next".
17. The next page will ask what types of product data you would like to sync from your Point of Sale and eCommerce and from your eCommerce to your Point of Sale. Other than Inventory Quantities, these product data attribute syncs are one way - meaning that they should only go from one platform to the other not both ways. This is due to polling times causing mismatches in data and is highly unrecommended.
Select the options you would like to sync and then click "Next".
π¨ Note: The attributes available in the above image are not available for all integrations. Make sure to check the integration pages to see what product data types are available to sync for your platforms.
π‘Tip: Not sure what a product attribute means or what data it syncs? Check out our guide on Product Attributes!
18. For the majority of integrations, order syncing is available from eCommerce to Point of Sale. This feature is for record keeping purposes and allows you to view all orders (both in-store transactions and online orders) in one spot.
For Square, Lightspeed Retail R-Series and Vend (Lightspeed Retail X-Series), you have the option of having orders routed to a specific location. For some customers, this will result in manual fulfilment of orders through SKU IQ. For more information, see the integration pages.
For Square and Shopify customers, we offer a feature to allow for in-store or curbside pickup. This feature is currently in BETA.
If you are interested in these features, click the checkbox next to Yes, I would like to sync orders and a Support representative will reach out to set this up with you. They will need the following information:
- Location Names
- Employee Name to assign online orders to
- Payment category to assign to online orders
19. The next step is to generate a Link Report. The link report will try to match items on your Point of Sale and eCommerce platforms based on product name/title, SKU #, and UPC/Barcode. Read more about the Link Report here.
Click "Get Link Report".
SKU IQ will then try to match your inventory together! Don't worry if nothing comes up to link. You'll want to see the article "Troubleshooting the Link Report" for more information on how to fix products not linking or what to do if there are no products on one of your platforms.
If there are items to link, you'll see a report similar to this generate:
The items above are matched based on the Title of the product. You'll notice that the report will show you the quantities for both the Point of Sale and eCommerce platforms. This is to help you choose which system will be your Primary System (AKA The Source of Truth). If you know for a fact that all of the inventory quantities are correct on your Point of Sale, you can select "POS" as your Primary System. Or vice versa, if you know that all of the inventory quantities are correct on
your eCommerce platform, you can select eCommerce as your primary system. Selecting one of the radio buttons under "Primary System" will select the same radio buttons for all products on the first page (up to 100 products).
Once you have selected the primary system, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click
"Link Items". This will link the first page of linkable items (up to
100 items all at once!). If you have more than 100 linkable items, that's okay. You can generate further link reports after you've finished the Setup Wizard. Check out "How to Use the Link Report" for more information on generating new link reports.
You may need to click "Next" to continue.
20. SKU IQ will now want to make a test product on both your Point of Sale and eCommerce platforms. This is to ensure that pushing products to both sides works.
You'll have the opportunity to check it for yourself after you click on "Start Test".
You'll now be prompted to check the results! The instructions under the + icons will be different for each integration. Check both your Point of Sale and eCommerce to make sure the SKU IQ Test items have been generated. It can take up to 3 minutes for a new product to be added to each side.
If you have not enabled the Legacy REST API in WooCommerce, the SKU IQ Test item will fail to generate on WooCommerce.
You'll have the opportunity to make another test item if you wish. When you're ready, click "Next".
21. The next step is to set up notifications for your SKU IQ account. These notifications can either be via email or text message (message and data rates apply).
We can notify you when an item has become out of stock or is nearly out of stock (with a range of 1 to 20 items). This allows you to know when you need to re-order a product!
We can also notify you when a new order has been placed on your eCommerce platform. This is extra handy when you have manual order fulfilment turned on for multi-location setups.
SKU IQ offers peace of mind by giving you the option to be notified when new team members join your SKU IQ account. That's right! You can add staff accounts to your SKU IQ with a few clicks of a button. This is extra handy when you are working with contractors developing your website or with employees that help you with your day-to-day inventory tracking and order needs.
One of the most important notifications we have is to notify you when your Point of Sale or eCommerce platforms have lost connection with SKU IQ. We highly recommend having notifications for this item turned on! When one of your platforms loses connection to SKU IQ, we'll do our best to keep up with the transactions that occur while one platform is offline, allowing you the peace of mind to know that we're keeping track in the background even if there's an outage on one side.
Lastly, we offer Email Subscriptions. You can choose the frequency of these emails - and these options can be changed later! You can change these settings and any other notification settings under the Settings tab on your dashboard.
π‘ Tip: If you would like text message notifications, you will be prompted to add a mobile number with valid country code in a popup window.
22. Once you're done checking what notifications you'd like, click "Next".
23. Congratulations! You've finished the Setup Wizard! To get back to the dashboard and close out the Setup Wizard, click "Start Syncing".
If you run in to any issues during the initial set up of SKU IQ, please reach out to Support, either by using the Chat Bot on the Dashboard, sending an email to Support, submitting a support ticket, or leaving a voice mail at +1 888-908-3798.
